What We've Achieved
Planted 54 new trees of various species on the Green
Watering new trees and maintaining older trees
Inoculations of the remaining elms and honey locusts—this year we paid for all nine to be treated to protect them against Dutch elm disease.
Planting spring bulbs on the Green
Purchased seven teak benches and twelve white planters
Maintaining the planters year-round
This winter we will put a small evergreen tree in each box and light the trees during the holiday season.
Sponsoring the annual Christmas tree lighting, which is funded by one of our founding trustees, Betsy Smith and by the Town of Sharon.
